My name is Brian Barnoff, president and CEO of Wav-es. (Wheelchair Accessible Vans and Equipment Sales). I am paraplegic since 1972 and have therefore have been buying, assessing, and of course- personally using numerous adapted vehicles for over 39 years.
In 1994 I founded Para-Plus Incorporated, a Montreal based company with a broad spectrum of clientele, both corporate and private. We represented all the major manufacturers of adapted equipment such as the Braun Corporation, Vantage mobility international, as well as Vision and Bruno to name a few… Having acquired much knowledge and many well known contacts in the industry, I in turn built a very successful business, and succeeded in growing the company to meet and reflect the specific needs of our target clientele.
Having then achieved all my personal business related goals - I then sold Para Plus Inc. In 2003, confident that my client's needs were being duly addressed and maintained. I then ventured into semi retirement, acting as an independent consultant for various institutions and organizations- all the while keeping abreast of new innovations and product lines.
After these last few years of continued solid contact with all the good friends and business partners established over the years, I realized that I was truly missing the real gratification of matching an adapted vehicle to an individual's immediate and future requirements.
I have now launched our new company Wav-es, in order to better address those who are in need of acquiring a top of the line adapted vehicle I personally ensure that the purchaser can be confident in the reliability of the chosen vehicle, specifically customized to assure their continued mobility. Whether for business, pleasure, or day to day endeavours I am here to assess their needs, and obtain the appropriate adapted vehicle tailored to their lifestyle and mobility issues.
In light of our many years of personal and corporate experience in wheelchair accessible van and equipment sales, and of our alliance with the major suppliers in this industry, Wav-es can acquire the appropriate van in usually less than 10 days. Whether a passenger or a driver, Wav-es will put you in the right vehicle while addressing your individual and/or family needs…Yes- usually within 10 days!
We offer lowered floor, side entry, rear entry, raised roof, lifts, mini van or full size for private or commercial use.
